WANTED: Ball-Rolling Cowboys and Cowgirls
September 11, 2007 (Newnan, GA) — The Newnan-Coweta Chamber of Commerce will host its annual Bowling Adventure, sponsored by Coweta-Fayette EMC, on November 2, 2007 at Junction Lanes. Registration begins at noon and the finals are scheduled to start at 3:30.
“This is always a lot of fun for our company teams and there are many, many ways to win,” said Robin Harrington, Chamber chair of the event and general manager at Junction Lanes, which is proud to serve as facilities sponsor for the event. Prizes include best-dressed team (in Western costume), the best-decorated lane and the lowest score. In addition, individuals can compete in the Out-Med “Deal or no Deal” contest to win $1,000.
“We expect a high turn-out, as usual, so it’s best for teams to sign up as soon as possible,” said Harrington. Each five-player team will play five games, with the top two teams advancing to a two-game final. Cost is $300 per team through October 15 th, $400 per team after October 15th and $500 per team for non Chamber members. Advertising opportunities also are available, including year-long banner ads, lane sweeps and combo packages, ranging from $300 to $750 for the year.
