The Chamber celebrated its amazing 60-year history at the recent Shareholders Celebration. Eleven businesses received Prosperity Awards for impacting economic prosperity and development in our community in the past 18 months.  Congratulations to award recipients: The Summit Family YMCA for its new state-of-the-art facility, Toyota of Newnan for its new facility, Winpak Films for its 2007 expansion, Thomas Enterprises for Ashley Park, Cousins Properties for Blalock Lakes, Southtowne Motors of Newnan for its expansion, Pattillo Construction for Coweta Industrial Park, Yamaha for its 2007 expansion, Historic Development Ventures for Senoia re-development, Out-Med, LLC for Summit 1825, and Georgia Development Partners for 75 Jackson Street. Mark Fritz, Bank of Coweta, was honored as the 2007 Volunteer of the Year, and Mark Fetner, Jameson Inn, was named 2007 Ambassador of the Year.
