DESCRIPTION:This January expo is designed for 8th-grade students from the six public middle schools\, with invitations also extended to private schools in Coweta County. In collaboration with the Coweta County School System and the Coweta County Development Authority\, this partnership will expand the student career path experience.\n\n\n\nIndustry leaders\, construction companies and local manufacturers along with healthcare andutility providers will join public safety and transportation companies to share their world of work. Participation in the expo will create awareness about exciting career options among students and educators. They will leave the expo knowing Coweta's workforce needs and the opportunities for college education and training during high school with the Dual Enrollment program.\n\n\n\nIn order to develop high-demand career interest among students\, a variety of opportunities will be presented via hands-on\, interactive activities across nine career worlds. This will guide them to make smart and informed decisions for their future and move our community forward with workforce-ready graduates.
