WHAT IS SPLOST?

A 1 percent sales tax that must be approved by voters for a specific amount of time and used for specific capital projects

A SPLOST has been in place in Coweta since 1986 and extended by Coweta voters 6 previous times
-
Coweta’s current SPLOST expires December 2012 and will be on the ballot to be continued for six years
