
As Coweta's challenges and opportunities become more complex, there is an increasing need to develop strong community leaders. A program of the Chamber since 1995, Leadership Coweta is a comprehensive leadership program that educates and better prepares a diverse group of community, government, business, and nonprofit leaders to work collaboratively in addressing local issues.
The program:
Program fee is $600. Leadership Coweta is open to individuals who are either currently a resident of Coweta County or are employed in Coweta County (employer must be located in Coweta County) for one (1) year prior to September 1 of the current year. Participants must show a sincere desire, be motivated and interested in the community, and have a strong desire to increase their service in key leadership positions in Coweta County. Leadership Coweta accepts nominations and applications May through July each year. To join Leadership Coweta, candidates must complete the application process. The annual tuition fee for Leadership Coweta is $600.
