SUMMARY:September 9th Non-Profit Alliance Meeting
DESCRIPTION:Building Stronger Business Nonprofit Partnerships: The Business Perspective\n\nThis spring\, the Nonprofit Alliance held a workshop at its monthly meeting about what meaningful partnerships between nonprofits and businesses can look like beyond financial giving. Nonprofit leaders worked together to explore a series of questions about partnership\, engagement\, shared value\, and how the business community can support nonprofit organizations in ways that go beyond writing a check.\n\nNow\, we're turning the conversation around.\n\nAt our next Nonprofit Alliance meeting\, a panel of local business leaders will respond to those same questions this time through the lens of the business community. We'll hear directly from Chellie Phillips of Coweta Fayette EMC\, Bryan Ginsberg with Christian Brothers Automotive\, and Stacy Peternell with Cargill about what they look for in nonprofit partnerships\, what motivates their involvement\, how nonprofits can engage them more effectively\, and what makes a partnership valuable for both sides. \n\n\n\nPlease note that the location has changed! We will be meeting at City of Hope in Newnan.
