Construction Company Partners with Faith-Based Architectural Firm
ATLANTA (March 23, 2020) – Mark Williamson, President of Construction for Peachtree City-based Randolph Williamson, recently attended the 2020 Building God’s Way (BGW) Builder Conference. Building God’s Way is an industry-leading church architect offering a network of Kingdom-building solutions, from initial concept to construction completion.
The educational, two-day event was held at BGW headquarters in Ogden, Utah. BGW partners with commercial builders from around the nation. Randolph Williamson is the preferred construction partner for the Atlanta metro area.
“Our relationship with BGW spans about five years,” explains Williamson. “In Riverdale, Georgia, we’re currently converting a former Lowe’s into the new home of Light of Joy Church in partnership with Building God’s Way.”
A nice mix of business and pleasure, the BGW Builder Conference included an opening reception at BGW offices, financial and building supply presentations and lectures plus workshop-style sessions with an attendee dinner banquet wrapping things up.
Held every 18 months, the conference covers a lot in a relatively short time: church construction and renovation news, updates on BGW strategic partners, church lending options, business development, pre-construction, and more. It also provides builders with great networking and educational opportunities through Q&A sessions in a supportive, noncompetitive environment.
Also in attendance representing Randolph Williamson was J.R. Riley, Regional Business Development Manager, and Robin Stewart, Property Marketing Manager. Riley and Stewart attended business development breakout sessions while Williamson attended sessions for operations/construction.
Last October, Randolph Williamson hosted a Building God’s Way seminar in Atlanta. The half-day educational event is designed to help churches meet their construction goals. A date for the 2020 seminar will be announced later this year.
