Speaker: Karen Tinker, Development Director, The Council on Alcohol and Drugs

Karen is a trainer for the Drugs Don’t Work program which benefits business with a 7.5% discount on Georgia Workers’ Compensation premiums. Attendance at this program will serve as training for Coordinators. She will also discuss new DOT regulations going into effect in 2020. 

At this meeting, the Safety Alliance will hold their officer elections. Positions of Chair, Vice Chair, and Scribe will be up for reelection.

Formed under the auspices of the Newnan-Coweta Chamber, the Coweta Safety Alliance was founded to make sure that local businesses are leading the way in keeping employees safe and preparing for natural disasters and unexpected emergencies.
