Candidates Forum

The 2010 Coweta County Commission Republican Primary Forum will be held Monday, July 12, 6:30 p.m. at the Newnan-Coweta Chamber of Commerce on Bullsboro Drive. The forum is sponsored by the Newnan-Coweta Chamber of Commerce Business & Community Advocacy Committee and the Coweta County Republican Party.

The debates will be split between the candidates for the two Coweta County Commission districts up for election in this year's

primaries:

* First forum - 2nd District (Tim Lassetter and Eddie Wilson)

* Second forum - 3rd District (Bob Blackburn, George Harper, and David Stover)

The debate will be moderated using modified League of Women Voter Rules, as in past Chamber forums. Each candidate will be given a

2 minute opening statement, a 1-minute answer to each question, and the opportunity for a 30-second rebuttal following each question-answer.

Each debate will be finished with 2-minute closing statements.

The forum is expected to last no later than 8:00 p.m.
