Speaker: Gerald Johnson, Vice President of Customer Service, Georgia Power Co.
Gerald Johnson was named Vice President of Customer Services in January. In this role, he is responsible for the following departments: Customer Satisfaction; Customer Care Center; Customer Field Services; Advanced Metering and Data System Management; eBusiness, Metro Service Hubs, and Systems, Operations and Support.
A native of Winston-Salem, N.C., he graduated from Johnson C. Smith University with a degree in Accounting and Economics. Since joining Southern Company in 1981, Gerald has held positions of increasing responsibility at Alabama Power and Georgia Power in Customer Operations, Accounting, Nuclear, Governmental & Regulatory Affairs, and Finance.
