As such, we're drilling down into the state of housing in our county at large and exploring the connection between a prosperous community and a healthy housing market.
Join us for a thoughtful discussion on housing forecasts, economic drivers, and the workforce environment that will inform a vision for the future of our community.
Attendees will enjoy a moderated discussion on the state of housing in Coweta as a panel of industry experts weighs in on affordable housing, economic drivers, and a combined vision for those who work, live, and thrive in Coweta.
We'll also hear from Dr. William "Joey" Smith, Chair of the University of West Georgia Department of Economics, who will highlight local housing trends amidst regional growth and the local employment climate.
Other panelists will include:- Trae Westmoreland, president of the Coweta County Development Authority, who will speak to the goals for business development in Coweta.
- Gerald Kemp, senior vice president of Fidelity Bank, who will speak to finance and the lending environment.
- Mac McKinney of McKinney & Son Builders Inc., who will address the current housing climate from the perspective of a developer.
- Russell Jackson Berry of Better Homes and Gardens | Metro Brokers and 2019 President of the Coweta County Board of Realtors who will share his perspective on local housing supply and demand.
