- Must have at least 3-5 years’ experience in commercial locksmithing
- Install, service, maintain, repair, replace doors, frames, locks, keys, door hardware, door closers, panic devices, smart locks, high security locks and more.
- Cut keys to code, duplicate keys, rekey locks, SFIC cores
- Install cat6 wiring, cameras and access controls hardware.
- Use smart phone app and computer software to check in and collect payments from clients.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Fast learner.
- Hours: M-Fri 8 am et to 5 pm et.
- Must be able to fluently understand, speak and write English
- Must have clean criminal record and be able to pass a background check
- Must have clean driving record, no accidents within the past 7 years
- Must be authorized to work for any employer in US
- Must pass a clean drug screen.
- Ability to push, pull and lift at least 50lbs – 100 lbs.
- Ability to kneel, crouch and stoop.
- Ability to reach above and below the shoulders.
- Ability to use hands and fingers to grasp, twist, and pull.
- Withstand external weather conditions year-round.
- Ability to climb ladders to 12 ft. – 16 ft.
- Performs all door and lock repair and service functions.
- Expert knowledge and skills with doors, frames, locks and keys.
- Instruct customers on door and lock operation.
- Drive company vans to client sites.
- Responds to customer questions and requests.
- Recommend corrective services to adjust customer complaints.
- Diffuses difficult and complex customer issues.
- Builds and maintains working relations with customers.
- Defines the scope of add-ons and change orders, seeks customer approval and writes up paperwork
- Recommends ways to use additional features and capabilities of system installations
- Performs site visits with sales consultants at existing or potential clients
- Maintains accurate records of all inspections/service calls and troubleshooting as required
- Provides accurate, detailed and timely paperwork and reports to management
- Evaluates new products for reliability and fitness to targeted customer use and profile
- Other duties as required by management
