 Sunday, ClosedAbout UsThe Newnan-Coweta Historical Society (NCHS) is a non-profit organization dedicated to the interpretation and preservation of the historical, cultural and architectural heritage of Coweta County through its programs, exhibitions and collections while serving, engaging and educating the diverse communities of Coweta County and the surrounding region. 
 We operate the McRitchie-Hollis Museum and the Newnan Historic Train Depot. With a deep connection to his hometown, Taj is devoted to safeguarding and showcasing the rich culture of Coweta County with his involvement in Newnan’s annual Black History Program, the Scottish Sister City Celebrations and has been responsible for an increase in museum memberships over the last year. Taj studied Music Therapy at the University of Evansville and Vocal Performance at Columbus State University. Drawing from his expertise in visual merchandising, interior design, and theater production, he plays a vital role by creating compelling exhibits, educational initiatives, and interactive events engaging Newnan’s 6 historic districts.
