Please join the Newnan-Coweta Chamber in celebrating the ribbon cutting of Jr's Heart SAVES. Jr’s Heart SAVES is a nonprofit, female veteran-led organization dedicated to preventing child abuse and neglect while expanding access to trauma-informed mental health services for children, families, and underserved communities. Birthed from personal tragedy, the organization was created to transform loss into purpose—using lived experience as a foundation to advocate for awareness, prevention, and healing. Grounded in the belief that healing should be accessible and equitable, the organization works to bridge critical gaps in care by providing low-cost and free counseling, education, and community-based support. Through individual and family therapy, outreach initiatives, and partnerships with schools, courts, and child welfare agencies, Jr’s Heart SAVES supports families impacted by trauma, socioeconomic hardship, and systemic barriers. With a strong focus on awareness, prevention, and early intervention, the organization meets people where they are—both physically and emotionally—to promote resilience, strengthen families, and break cycles of trauma within the communities it serves. Refreshments will be served.
