Please join the Newnan-Coweta Chamber in celebrating the ribbon cutting of the Newnan Coweta Humane Society. The Newnan-Coweta Humane Society (NCHS) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of animals in our community. They kennel, foster, and adopt abandoned dogs and cats.
Our vision is simple: a future where every adoptable pet has a safe, loving home—and where spaying and neutering is the norm, helping to end pet overpopulation in Coweta County.
Our mission is to advocate for animals, support local families, and strengthen the bond between pets and their people. Through spay/neuter programs, fostering, adoption services, education, and outreach, we work every day to create lasting change. We also step in to help sick and injured animals who would otherwise face euthanasia. They are celebrating a major refurbishment/reconstruction of their facility and their 50th anniversary year - food and beverages will be provided.
