Scholarship Education Outreach Expands Services to Support Students in Coweta & Fayette Counties

Newnan, GA - Scholarship Education Outreach proudly announces its expanded service footprint across Coweta County and Fayette County, delivering critical scholarship planning education, career mentoring, and college-to-career readiness programming to students and families throughout the region.

As a nonprofit committed to reducing college debt and strengthening economic mobility, Scholarship Education Outreach equips students with the tools, confidence, and strategy needed to secure scholarships and successfully transition from high school to career. This mission is carried out through the organization’s two signature programs: the Scholarship Planning Made Simple Workshop Series and the Career Mentoring Program. Together, these programs increase scholarship success, enhance workforce preparedness, and support long-term community growth.

The Scholarship Planning Made Simple Workshop Series provides hands-on, step-by-step guidance that helps students and parents organize the scholarship process, build an actionable plan, and identify real-time funding opportunities. This series reduces overwhelm, improves planning skills, and opens access to resources that many students—particularly first-generation and underserved youth—may not receive at home or in school.

Through its Career Mentoring Program, early-career talent and high school students connect with industry professionals to explore career pathways, build networks, and develop essential professional skills. This program directly aligns with regional workforce development priorities by preparing students for the jobs of tomorrow and strengthening the talent pipeline across Coweta and Fayette Counties.

In January, Scholarship Education Outreach will host its Scholarship Planning Vision Board Party, an interactive workshop guiding students and families through strategic scholarship planning, organization, and academic goal-setting. This event is part of the expanded suite of student-centered programs that advance the organization’s mission to create accessible, structured scholarship readiness opportunities for all learners.

Looking toward 2025 and beyond, the organization is actively establishing partnerships with schools, youth-serving nonprofits, and community groups to bring scholarship planning workshops and mentoring programs directly to students countywide. Businesses and community leaders are encouraged to collaborate in supporting local youth on their journey to debt-free postsecondary education.

In 2026, Scholarship Education Outreach will debut its inaugural annual fundraiser - the Veterans' Legacy Scholars Celebration of Coweta & Fayette Counties. This signature event will honor high school seniors from veteran families, veteran educators, and military-connected individuals whose service and leadership enrich local communities. The celebration reinforces the organization’s commitment to educational access and community pride.

Scholarship Education Outreach invites community members, partners, and businesses to join its mission of expanding scholarship access and empowering the next generation of leaders.
