Looking for a Medical Assistant

We are growing and are looking for a positive, outgoing candidate for a Medical Assistant position at our busy pediatric office. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:  preparing patients for the providers, administering vaccines, obtaining and recording diagnostic laboratory test results and assisting with general coordination of care for patients. Must be a team player, good communicator, and have a positive outlook so as to ensure a comfortable and smooth experience for young patients and their families.

Requirements:

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.

• Requires successful completion of a six month to one year course in medical assisting at an accredited school

• BLS Certification

• MA Certification 

• Familiarity with computers and other office equipment

• Basic typing and keyboard skills
